Watch Brian May, Def Leppard Perform David Bowie's "All The Young Dudes"

Def Leppard closed its Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in a big way with an all-star jam featuring Queen guitarist Brian May, former Mott the Hoople singer Ian Hunter performing the David Bowie-penned hit "All The Young Dudes."

For one of the best-selling rock bands of all-time, the Hall of Fame induction was long-awaited for Def Leppard — even though front man Joe Elliott said initially it didn't seem like that big of a deal.

The collaboration with May and Hunter was significant for Def Leppard. May has long been one of the Def Leppard's most prominent supporters while Hunter and Mott the Hoople are often cited as a major influence on the band.

It was also a big moment for Def Leppard which has only rarely in its career welcomed other artists onto its stage for collaborations.

The jam also features Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent of the Zombies, Phil Manzanera of Roxy Music, Susannah Hoffs of the Bangles and "Little" Steven Van Zandt.

Check out some great-sounding fan shot video of the collaboration above!

The 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction air April 27 at 8 p.m. on HBO.
