A survey from Rover, an online network of dog sitters and walkers, has some results that no dog lover will disagree with: dog owners will often choose their pup over people, even those closest to them.

According to the survey, 94% see their dog as a member of the family.
75% of us would include our doggo in vacations, marriage proposals, holiday cards and other major life events.
65% admitted taking more photos of their pet than of their friends or significant other.
54% would consider ending their relationship if they thought their pup didn’t like the partner they picked.
