Geddy Lee Gives His Thoughts on the 2017 Season

Besides JY of Styx, there is probably no bigger rock star baseball fan than Rush's Geddy Lee.

Despite inducting and performing with Yes Friday night at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Brooklyn, New York, Geddy Lee was also busy monitoring his beloved Toronto Blue Jays, who were playing in Tampa against the Rays.

Or friend Sal, who was reporting for us from the HOF ceremony, caught up with Geddy backstage, the first words out of his mouth were,  "Jays are down by a run. That's why this stupid machine [iPhone] is  always in my hand. I'm hoping we'll get to the playoffs again."

So since he brought up America's Favorite Pastime, why not ask our favorite Canadian baseball correspondent for his thoughts on the 2017 season?

Grumpy Joe, the ultimate contrarian, is celebrating the home opener today by wearing his Blue Jays socks. He thankfully left the I Heart BJs t-shirt at home, but is wearing a Toronto city map one.
