Lots of people make bad decisions in their teenage years that they grow to regret.
Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne's eldest daughter Aimée was only 16 when her family's television show The Osbournes first aired. Even today as she relaunches her musical career as ARO, she says she's still entirely comfortable with her decision stay off camera.
"To me, I'd grown up around having a pretty well-known dad anyway, and I always really valued my privacy within that family," Aimee told New York's Q104.3 Out of the Box with Jonathan Clarke.
Aimée's siblings Jack and Kelly have both grappled with the good and bad from having been depicted on television in the most awkward stages of their lives. Aimée said she knew even as a teen that she didn't want to grow up in front of a camera.
"For who I am, as far as morally, and also just to give myself a chance to actually develop into a human being as opposed to just being remembered for being a teenager, it didn't really line up with what I saw my future as. It definitely worked great for the rest of my family, but for me and who I am, I just knew it was never something that I would have been able to consider realistically."
