Aerosmith's frontman and lead guitarist have yet another thing in common: the birth dates of their newest grandchildren!
Steven Tyler and Joe Perry each welcomed new family members Wednesday, May 10, Tyler a grandson, Perry a granddaughter.
“Congrats to Steven Tyler and Joe Perry on the birth of their new grandchildren. Both born today! How cool is that!” reads a post on the band's official Facebook page. "The newest member of the Tyler family is a beautiful little boy, 7 lbs 11 oz born at 5:45 a.m."
The newest member of the Perry family is a beautiful little girl, 6 lbs 9 oz born at 2:11 p.m. Let’s give them a huge #BlueArmy welcome.”
The Toxic Twins may have mixed feelings about the timing of the births, however. Aerosmith begins its conveniently-titled Aero-Vederci Baby! European Tour 2017 next week.
The band has plans to begin recording a new album when it returns.
