Queen has released another lyric video for one of its classic songs.
The band added "Somebody to Love" to its official YouTube page Monday morning.
And while it seems like pretty straightforward song, while watching the video, some of us realized we've been mishearing the song's lyrics for years!
Here's what some of us thought Freddie Mercury was singing, and then in italics what he was actually singing.
"Each morning I get up a' dialin'." / "Each morning I get up and die a little."
"I worked and I ate my bones." / "I work till I ache in my bones."
"I get down on my knees in my special place." / "I get down on my knees, and I start to pray."
"They say I gotta lotta ways to lose my brain." / "They say I got a lot of water in my brain."
"I got no feel, I got no ribbons." / "I got no feel, I got no rhythm."
"I just keep losing my beans." / "I just keep losing my beat."
In conclusion, Freddie's actual lyrics make much more sense than we thought. Now when we go see Queen + Adam Lambert on tour this summer, we'll (finally) be singing the correct words!
