Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan and his twin brother and assistant Rob Ryan were relieved of their duties Tuesday.
Offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn was named the team's interim head coach, NFL.com reports.
Rex Ryan finished his first season in Buffalo with an 8-8 record.
The Bills are currently 7-8, which a game this weekend against Rex Ryan's former team, the New York Jets, which fired him in 2014.
Ryan is now 61-66 with two playoff appearances (both with the Jets) in with eight seasons as an NFL head coach.
But now what will become of that tattoo, which Ryan famously had redone in Buffalo Bills colors after getting the job?
