A man was arrested for threatening to beat up one of his family members when his prosthetic leg arrives.
During an argument involving money, a woman called 911 after her nephew, Algenis Vladimir Diaz, became aggressive, after Diaz told her she should be taking care of him since he's now an amputee. The two argued, and Diaz started screaming that he was "going to ram his car into hers and blow it up."
Another family member stepped in to help, and a second argument started and Diaz began clenching his fists to strike the other family member. Deputies arrived and spoke with Diaz, who admitted he threatened his family members and he would beat the [expletive] out of them once he gets his prosthetic leg.
Diaz was taken to the Marion County Jail on one count of misdemeanor simple assault.
