The City Parks Foundation has announced its 2024 Dinner & Concert benefit fundraiser will take place September 26.
This year's gala will honor tennis legends John McEnroe and Patrick McEnroe with the City Parks Foundation Icon Award and Nuveen Real Estate's Nadir Settles with the People & Parks Award.
The evening will include performances by Peter Frampton and Patty Smyth. Smyth will be backed by an all-star house band including famed producer and drummer Steve Jordan. The concert is produced by RWE Partners.
“All three honorees are longtime champions of supporting the diverse communities that comprise New York City and are dedicated to providing the tools and services needed to help expand opportunities for those living in urban areas," said Heather Lubov, Executive Director of City Parks Foundation. "We are thrilled to be able to recognize and highlight their distinguished accomplishments.”
City Parks Foundation, through its Capitol One City Parks Foundation SummerStage Festival, is one of the largest presenters of free arts and cultural programs in New York City parks, and serves more than 275,000 New Yorkers each year through arts, education, sports and community building initiatives.
