Mötley Crüe just released a brand new single, with an exclusive world premiere on iHeartRadio, accompanied by a thrilling, apocalyptic music video that perfectly captures the essence of The Crüe and all their debauchery. The raw track titled, "Dogs of War" stands out as the band's first single release since 2019's "The Dirt (Est.1981)" featuring Machine Gun Kelly.
Band co-founder and bassist Nikki Sixx shared his take on the epic new single, assuring fans that they're "gonna like this one."
"It’s always great getting back in the studio with the guys in the band. We know you’re gonna like this one.”
Bob Rock, producer of Mötley Crüe's "famed" 1989 album Dr. Feelgood (per a press release), was called in to produce the tantalizing masterpiece that the world now knows as "Dogs of War." Rock has been present for a handful of studio sessions with the "rowdy quartet" over the years but claimed that the latest single was the easiest to record.
“Working with the band on the new song was the easiest session I have ever had with them… The Crüe is the best they have ever been! And they have plenty of new stuff in store.”
The music video, released in tandem with the electric new track, depicts the band performing the single in an apocalyptic world surrounded by zombies, dogs, and pig-headed people as the fight to "not let the bas***** get them down."
Mötley Crüe are currently on a North American tour with their next performance slated for May 3rd at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Fans can listen to the band's first release of 2024, "Dogs of War," on iHeartRadio now!
