Did you feel shaking this morning?

Preliminary reports from the United States Geological Survey indicate that a 4.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in New Jersey at 10:23 a.m. today.

Shaking was reported across the East Coast from New England to Philadelphia.

No injuries were immediately reported.

Though earthquakes on the East Coast are rare, this isn't the first one to rattle the Tri-State area this year. In January, a magnitude 1.7 earthquake was felt near Astoria, Queens, per the U.S. Geological Survey.
