The Eagles will not be making their return tonight at Madison Square Garden for the 2021 'Hotel California' tour.
New York is in a state of emergency as Tropical Storm Henri is about to make landfall today on Long Island, so the band has rescheduled the Sunday night show to Wednesday.
"Your health and safety remain our top priority," said The Garden in a statement. "Due to the state of emergency that has been declared for New York City as a result of impending severe weather conditions, please be advised the Eagles performance scheduled to take place tomorrow, Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Madison Square Garden has been postponed to Wednesday, August 25, 2021."
Tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date and exchanges will not be necessary.
That means the Eagles' first show back will be Tuesday, August 24, what was to be the second of this week's two-night stand at the World's Most Famous Arena.
The concerts will feature the Eagles performing their legendary 1976 Hotel California album in its entirety, accompanied by an orchestra and a choir. The Hotel California set will be followed by a second set of the band's greatest hits.
