The Who have announced a gargantuan edition of their third studio album, 1967's The Who Sell Out, which features 112 tracks, 46 of which have never been released before.
The Super Deluxe Edition of the album also boasts an 80-page, hardcover book with rare photos, posters, memorabilia and track-by-track annotations.
The Who Sell Out is a loosely defined concept album and homage to the '60s pop art movement. Crafted to sound like a pirate radio broadcast, the album includes commercial parodies, jingles and several classic Who songs, like "I Can See for Miles," "Rael," "Armenia City In The Sky" and "Relax."
Pete Townshend and The Who managers Kit Lambert and Chris Stamp initially considered selling advertising on the album jacket, instead of doing traditional artwork, but reconsidered as the band began to come up with parodies.
