Guns N' Roses Announce Rescheduled 2021 North American Tour Dates

Guns N' Roses has announced that its postponed North American tour has been rescheduled to next summer.

The band announced in a graphic released to Twitter that the new run will begin on July 10, 2021, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at Summerfest and wrap up in Los Angeles, California, on August 19, 2021.

But not all of the postponed dates will be made up, the band explained.

"Unfortunately a select few [shows] will need to be canceled due to touring and venue availability issues that developed during the postponement process," the band added.

Guns N' Roses last performed March 14 in Mexico City, in spite of many large event cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The band has been working on new music since reuniting with guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan in 2016, but there have still been no revelations of what will come of the sessions.

Slash said in January that something was indeed "happening," regarding the band's work in the studio.

McKagan's wife Susan Holmes McKagan told the Appetite for Distortion podcast this past April that the band had continued "working fastidiously" on the new tracks during the pandemic lockdowns.
