The Rolling Stones have added one more Tri-State area stop on the band's North American No Filter tour next summer, the band announced Wednesday.
Due to "overwhelming demand," the rock and roll legends have added a "second and final" show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The Stones are now scheduled to play MetLife June 13, 2019, and June 17, 2019, with the latter being the newly added date.
Tickets to both shows go on sale Friday, November 30, at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can visit RollingStones.com for more information.
The two MetLife shows will be the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers' only stop in the greater New York City-area in 2019.
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards announced the North American edition of the No Filter tour last week in an interview with Q104.3 New York's Jim Kerr.
Richards clarified in the interview that No Filter isn't a farewell.
"This is a hello again tour," he said.
The European leg of the Rolling Stones' No Filter tour wrapped up in the summer of 2018. So many decades into an iconic career, Jagger says he and his band mates don't like being at home for too long.
