This week on the award winning Sonstein Sunday:
The perfect companion piece to the Rosamund Pike movie “A Private War” is the even more harrowing documentary “Under The Wire.” It's about one of the greatest foreign correspondents of our time, Oyster Bay’s own Marie Colvin, who was killed while covering the bombing of civilians in Syria. Both movies open this weekend. The director of “Under The Wire,” Chris Martin, joins me at 6:55 am. This doc is one of the best movies I’ve seen all year. Disturbing, intense, really unbelievable.
At 7:15 am, Ken Dashow guest hosts and speaks with Noreen Springstead, Executive Director of W.H.Y Hunger. Get involved at whyhunger.org.
Listen to me every Sunday at 6:55 am on Q104.3, or anytime, on my Sonstein Sessions podcast on the iHeartRadio app!
