In recognition of Jim Kerr's induction into the National Radio Hall of Fame this week, we're throwing back as far as we might be able to for today's #TBT Podcast.
Here we have a young Jim Kerr talking very briefly with John Lennon in what looks to be late 1974. They discuss "The Immigrant," a then new track by legendary singer-songwriter Neil Sedaka. The song was inspired by and dedicated to Lennon and later released a single in '75.
Jim and John also touch base on Lennon's long running immigration case which threatened to force him out of the U.S.
This is goes by very quick but Lennon is in great spirits and it's cool to hear Jim already comfortably talking with an icon just a few years into his career. Check it out below!
