Michael Avenatti Denies Rumors of Cable Show With Anthony Scaramucci

Reality Show Starring Michael Avenatti, Anthony Scaramucci in the Works

Stormy Daniels' lawyer Michael Avenatti is denying rumors that a show starring himself and former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci is in the works.

TV agent Jay Sures reportedly discussed the potential show with executives at CNN and MSNBC. The concept behind the program is that Avenatti and Scaramucci would debate one another about politics and current events, reports the New York Times.

Avenatti in his role at counsel to Daniels has been one of President Donald Trump's most outspoken opponents in recent months. Scaramucci was fired from his role in the White House in fewer than two weeks on the job. He nonetheless has remained one of Trump's most ardent defenders.

“I have no interest in television right now,” Mr. Avenatti said. “I enjoy my law practice and look forward to prevailing on behalf of my client Stormy Daniels."

Representatives for the cable networks, Sures and Scaramucci did not comment on the rumor to the Times.
