Lap steel guitar guru Robert Randolph joined us at Q104.3 New York for Live at 5 Wednesday to plug the Garden of Dreams Foundation benefit show, play some blues for us and show off his signature Peavey Powerslide lap steel guitar!
The Garden of Dreams Concert for Dreams benefit show always brings together an all-star band—this year led by O.A.R.—with a killer repertoire and plenty of surprises.
"We gave some guitars to some really awesome young kids," Randolph says of his work with Garden of Dreams. "It's always great when you see people...really doing the right thing, helping out these great, underprivileged kids."
The Concert for Dreams is scheduled for March 23, 2018.
"It's gonna be a fun night," he says. "It usually sells out, so you better get all your tickets now!"
