Watch David Lee Roth Perform With a Big Band at Charity Show

David Lee Roth was in his element on stage at a recent charity event, fronting a big band playing songs from his Van Halen and solo catalog.

The invitation-only benefit was for the Brent Shapiro Foundation for Drug Awareness.

Actor Marcus Shirock posted footage of the performance to his Facebook page. While Shirock's camera work at the beginning of the video might give you a headache, after about two minutes, he gets it together. The sound is great though, and we can understand why Shirock hurries to the edge of the stage to enjoy Roth and his band up close.

Roth looks as nimble as ever, and he sounds pretty good. After playing a set that included songs like "Just a Gigolo," "California Girls" and "Ice Cream Man," Roth closed the show with "Jump."
