Paws Crossed Animal Rescue is thrilled to
announce that they will be celebrating their 5th Anniversary Year opened to the public on
Sunday September 19th, 2021 from noon until 4pm at Paws Crossed, located at 100
Warehouse Lane South in Elmsford, NY. Their Paws Crossed Day event will be an
incredible, fun-filled day for the entire family, sharing Paws Crossed’s mission to
‘Rescue One By One Until There Are None”.
“We cannot wait to celebrate this emotional day with our incredible community … our
compassionate, resilient, and ever encouraging and inspiring family!”, said Julie Potter,
Business and Development Director. “This is an important day to truly reflect on how far
we have come in such a short time and to celebrate a bright, successful and life-saving
future”.
There will be delicious food trucks, awesome vendors, a spectacular yard sale, and the
Peake radio will be joining us from noon until 3 with music, announcements and station
handouts. The ever-talented, singer, songwriter, and guitarist Jack Grace will be joining
the day, bringing his musical brilliance to Paws Crossed.
There will a variety of activities for young animal rescuers, including Junior Volunteer
lessons, contests, painting classes, and even a chance to read to Chickpea (an
amazing therapy dog who is a part of Paw’s Crossed’s very popular ‘Reading to Rover’
Program).
The Greenburgh Police Department will be joining Paws Crossed Day at Noon with a
demonstration of their robot/hydrolic rescue equipment. Sure to delight kids and adults!!!!
