Last Hope COVID-19 Pet Food Drive-
This weekend- May 30/31-noon to 5pm to Benefit Owners in Need.
With so many Long Islanders unemployed at the present time, there are more pet owners in financial distress.
They will be collecting canned & dry dog & cat food ( all brands), pet treats too, outside Wantagh Adoption Center, 3300 Beltagh Ave, Wantagh 11793.
All bags must be unopened; please check expiration dates on high-end dry food.
No rawhides or treats made in China, please.
Their volunteers will be standing by from noon to 5 pm each day to accept your donations.
The pet food will be distributed to 3 organizations that supply pet food to owners in need:
*Baxter's Pet Pantry at Long Island Cares Harry Chapin Chapter
* Nobody Starves on Long Island
* Almost Home of Long Island
