The Rolling Stones have postponed a second show on their European tour as frontman Mick Jagger recovers from COVID-19.

The Stones announced early Tuesday that they would also be rescheduling the Friday, June 17, concert in Bern, Switzerland, due to Jagger's positive test. The band still intends to go through with the concert in Milan, Italy, next Tuesday as scheduled.

Jagger reported feeling symptoms Monday morning when he arrived at the Johan Cruijff Area in Amsterdam. A subsequent test revealed he was positive for COVID.

The Stones soon announced that the show that evening would be rescheduled for "the safety of the audience, fellow musicians and the touring crew."

Jagger himself released a statement shortly after the one issued by the band. He apologized for the change of plans and vowed to get back to the tour as soon as possible.

"Thank you all for your patience and understanding," he said.

Jagger, 78, has not provided an update on his condition, but the Stones' plan to resume their tour in a week's time seems like a good sign.

The Stones are celebrating their 60th anniversary this summer with a European tour. The band has dates on the books through July. See all the tour dates here.
