Aerosmith will resume its Las Vegas residency this summer.
The shows will mark Aerosmith's first live concerts in over two years, since the bands 'Deuces Are Wild' residency in Las Vegas, celebrating the band's 50th anniversary.
The new residency kicks off at Dolby Live in Las Vegas on June 17, with 24 total dates on the books through December 11.
Despite the pandemic, Aerosmith had repeatedly signaled a desire to tour again. The band had tentative plans for a European tour this summer, but guitarist Brad Whitford threw cold water on the idea last year, calling it a "pipe dream" and openly wondering "what my partners are thinking when they think that's gonna happen."
While Aerosmith eventually canceled the European engagements due to COVID-19 concerns, the band added the Vegas residency to its itinerary instead.
With more than two dozen dates on the books, Aerosmith will be busy this year — but now with traveling. The newly-announced shows are scheduled for June, July, September, October, November and December.
