Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band have tacked four additional shows onto the end of their 18-concert 'Roll Me Away Tour.'
Seger and his band will begin the tour Sept. 12 in South Dakota. The newly announced dates include stops in Boston, New York City, Toronto and the tour finale, November 1, in Philadelphia.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Seger, has struggled mightily with his health in recent years after having to postpone his 'Runaway Train Tour' in the fall of 2017 due to an injured vertebrae. Months later, last winter, Seger complained of "constant," "nagging" pain and a frustratingly restricting rehabilitation plan.
But Seger's work in rehab paid off; he was back on the road last November, talking of retiring on his own terms. It's still unclear when exactly the rock legend will end his live performing career, but by the end of his coming tour he will have performed for more than a million fans in the last two years.
