Paul Simon has been open in recent years about considering retirement, and now he's billed an upcoming concert as a "Farewell Performance."
The singer/songwriter will perform at London's British Summer Time Hyde Park 2018 festival on July 15.
Telegraph has reported it as Simons' "last ever appearance on stage."
James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt will be open.
Simon has made no official statement about whether or not this will be his final concert ever, his last concert on British soil, his last summer festival gig or something else.
His most recent performance in the U.K. was in 2016, during the European leg of a tour supporting his most recent album, Stranger to Stranger.
Two years ago, the singer/songwriter told the New York Times that his career was "coming toward the end" and that he was becoming less and less interested in "showbiz."
“It’s an act of courage to let go," Simon said at the time. "I am going to see what happens if I let go. Then I’m going to see, who am I? Or am I just this person that was defined by what I did? And if that’s gone, if you have to make up yourself, who are you?”
Simon has lightened his touring scheduled in recent years. Last summer, he played more than a dozen dates to raise money for environmental causes.
