Rock legend Sammy Hagar was abducted by aliens. It’s a story he touched on in his 2012 book, “Red,” but he’s given the story some more clarity in a new interview with “Las Vegas Now” while promoting his residency at The STRAT. Hagar says the alien encounter happened in 1964 or 1965, when he was in the midst of a dead sleep at four in the morning.
That’s when he felt like he “was being programmed” like someone was “tapping into” him like a “string from (his) head to 13 miles up on a mountain place called Lau Creek.” There, he says there was an “object…with two creatures in it.” While those creatures were “tapping into” Hagar, they notice he was waking up through “augmented telepathy” and yelled out a “numerical code, not of our numerical system.” From there, he felt something like a plug being pulled…and then he woke up…in his own bed shaking and “feeling drained.”
Since that moment, Hagar says he’s believed in UFOs and has become a “junior astronomer.” He doesn’t think the space beings did anything or embedded anything special into him, but rather they wanted to explore his brain to “see what (he) knew”…and that experience “expanded” Hagar’s mind. There was also one other experience, back in 1982 in Lake Placid. Sammy was in a log cabin with no electricity when he saw these “little grey creatures” hanging out and slamming doors. That, he says, was “freaky” and “scared him to death.”
