Fidget spinners have gotten a lot of media coverage lately.
The toys have been marketed as being stress-relievers and helpful to children with ADHD, but teachers say they're a huge distraction in school and most adults who use them find the little contraptions mesmerizing.
That's where bassist and YouTube user Davie504 comes in.
Davie, who's known for his innovative bass guitar experiments, did a little cover of Dick Dale's surf rock classic "Misirlou."
But since the song requires constant tremolo-picking, Davie let his fidget spinner do most of the work for him. And it worked great!
