Adena graduated from Long Island University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and received her Master’s degree in Nutrition Education from Columbia University. Adena works in private practice at Brown and Medina Nutrition where she is passionate about helping her clients reach their goals and maintain (or regain!) a healthy relationship with food.
She is also the Director of Nutrition for Mount Sinai’s Performance 360 program, and team dietitian for the Brooklyn Nets. Adena developed her clinical nutrition experience as Mount Sinai’s multi-ambulatory dietitian and previously developed and ran a corporate wellness program for a NYC-based financial firm.
She has written nutrition articles for publications that include Life and Style, Access Hollywood, Daily Mail, Shape Magazine, Teen Vogue, and People Magazine and is a frequent lecturer at the American Ballet Theater. In her free-time she is cooking, eating, blogging, working out or planning her next adventure.
