Axl Rose was grieving the loss of his dog Rosie last week when Guns N' Roses played a concert in Zurich, Switzerland.
Rose took the stage hours after getting the news, he told the crowd.
"Before we came to the show today, she passed away," he said. "So we'll dedicate this to her -- kind of the whole show for me and mine has been for Rosie."
Guns N' Roses has often covered AC/DC during its live set, and Rose fronted AC/DC last year after Brian Johnson had to bow out for health reasons.
Rose said he often thinks of the dog while singing "Whole Lotta Rosie."
