Everyone is trying to figure out how to get the live event industry back on its feet amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Leave it to The Flaming Lips to present the most feasible option: giant plastic bubbles.
The beloved alternative band donned sterile plastic bubbles and face masks to perform their timely 1999 hit "Race for the Prize" Monday night for CBS's The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
The best part was that the live audience for the performance was also outfitted in bubbles. The whole situation looked like good clean fun and reminded us all how much we love regular concerts.
