This past Sunday, Paul McCartney apparently found his way to Metuchen, New Jersey, according to The Patch.
The owner of ‘Be My Guest Personal Chef & Catering,’ John Manzo, photographed the former Beatle as he was walking around on Sunday afternoon in the small New Jersey town.
Although it may seem strange, the trip to Metuchen isn’t too strange after all. McCartney’s third wife, Nancy Shevell, grew up in Edison and her family has also long operated Elizabeth-based New England Motor Freight.
When Manzo asked McCartney why he was in New Jersey, “He said his wife used to live here.” McCartney also appeared to be taking pictures of the area. Here's the photo.
