Rammstein Could Be Teasing North American Return

Rammstein

Legendary German industrial metal band Rammstein appears to be preparing to announce the band's first U.S. tour in years.

The not-so-subtle tease uploaded to the band's social media on Tuesday depicts a black and white map of North America with several deliberate points in Canada, the United States and Mexico highlighted in red and yellow.

Captions included on the posts read: "Get ready, Amerika!"

An accompanying link on the controversial band's official Facebook page brings the user to the band's website where a short video shows the map filling up with color as the refrain from the band's 2004 song "Amerika" plays.

Rammstein's seventh album was released in May of 2019. The band supported it with a comprehensive tour of Europe that resumed in May of this year.

The states and provinces highlighted on the map in the band's post today include Quebec, Canada; Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Illinois, Minnesota, Texas, California and Mexico City, Mexico.

Rammstein last toured the U.S. in 2017.
