UK-based singer/songwriter James Gillespie recently dropped by "Out of the Box" with Jonathan Clarke to talk about his eclectic past, his first time in New York City and his unfortunate lack of relation to the Scottish tobacco tycoon from the 18th century with the same name.
Gillespie teased his new album, saying he and his team are "just finishing bits off now, making sure that we're happy...we're very close."
He also told Clarke that the first "New York thing" he really wanted when visiting the Big Apple for the first time was to get a bagel (which was "incredible"), and wander around Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan.
