Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Famer Joe Walsh lived in Montclair, New Jersey for only 4 years, and he spent those years attending Montclair High School, graduating in 1965. Walsh rocked the high school in October of 2015 when he returned to play a benefit concert to raise money to help renovate the school’s library. He came back again this past Tuesday, March 7, to check out the new facility he helped build. Walsh was entertained by Goats, an indie rock band whose members are MHS seniors. Joe got a tour of the new library and media center that features Apple computers, flat screen TVs, some new furniture, charging stations and study rooms. Joe also got a chance to reminisce about his playing days with current members of the Mounties, Montclair High School’s football team.
