Interview: The Nelson Brothers Talk Hits Running in the Family, Causing Riots in New Jersey & MORE!

The Nelson Brothers are on tour promoting a multi-media tribute to their late father, Ricky Nelson, called “Ricky Nelson Remembered.”

Matthew and Gunnar's dad was one of the most-televised rock and rollers in history, having been a cast member on "The Adventures of Ozzy and Harriet," the longest running live-action sitcom of all-time, for 14-and-a-half years.

Ricky Nelson had dozens of number 1 hits, several of which went on to become early rock and roll standards like "Hello Mary Lou," "Travelin' Man," "Be-Bop Baby," "Poor Little Fool" and others.

Matthew and Gunnar followed in their dad's footsteps in 1990 with their double platinum hit album, After the Rain. They tell Jonathan Clarke that they were so huge that year that it took all of five minutes for their mere presence at the Ocean County Mall in New Jersey to cause a riot.
