3 Doors Down to Play Trump Inauguration Celebration

posted by Andrew Magnotta -

After several weeks of getting turned down by some of the biggest acts in music, Donald Trump's team has secured a bit more star power for his pre-inauguration concert Jan. 19 at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C.

Country singer Toby Keith and Broadway vocalist Jennifer Holliday will be joined by the alternative rock band 3 Doors Down at the concert, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Actor Jon Voight, who has been a vocal supporter of Trump's, will also be in attendance.

3 Doors Down, authors of hit songs like "Kryptonite," "Here Without You" and "When I'm Gone," confirmed their involvement via Instagram.

The "'Make America Great Again!' Welcome Celebration" will take place Thursday, January 19th and will be broadcast live to the nation from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. It will feature historic remarks from President-elect Trump and special appearances from Toby Keith, Jon Voight, Jennifer Holliday, DJ Ravidrums, The Piano Guys, Tim Rushlow ("Little Texas"), Larry Stewart ("Restless Heart"), Marty Roe ("Diamond Rio"), Lee Greenwood, and 3 Doors Down.
