Country music legend Garth Brooks has been critical of the sharp increase in the cost of concert tickets in recent years, and next week he'll get the chance to discuss the issue in public with other music industry giants.

Brooks is scheduled to take part in a keystone panel discussion called 'Ticketing Real Talk: Reforms, Resolutions and Risk' on Wednesday, February 22, at the 34th annual Pollstar Live! Conference.

The panel will be hosted by legendary artist manager Irving Azoff. Brooks will be joined in the discussion by Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. CEO James Dolan and former Assistant Attorney General for the United States Department of Justice Antitrust Division Makan Delrahim.

The panelists will address the surging prices of tickets to concerts and sporting events, the wild secondary market and the impact increased security has had on ticket accessibility to the average fan.

Ticket pricing and accessibility has been such a hot button issue in the wake of major tour announcements by the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift and Beyoncé that even U.S. Congress and President Joe Biden are mulling ways to bring about a change.
