How To Watch The 2020 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Special

If you're dreading this week due to Election Day, stem the negativity by looking forward to something positive this weekend with the 2020 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Special on Saturday.

The twice-postponed television event honors the 2020 inductees Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers, Whitney Houston, Nine Inch Nails, The Notorious B.I.G., T-Rex and Ahmet Ertegun Award honorees Jon Landau and Irving Azoff.

The pre-taped special will air from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, November 7, on HBO and HBO Max. You can subscribe to HBO here. Go here to subscribe to HBO Max or sign up for the seven-day free trial.

Originally scheduled for May 2 at Cleveland's Public Auditorium, the Rock Hall ceremonies were eventually moved to this month due to coronavirus pandemic concerns. This year's induction is also the first time the ceremony won't feature a live concert, but that doesn't mean the Rock Hall is lacking intrigue or star power this time around.

Guests slated to appear on the pre-taped special include Luke Bryan, Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Miley Cyrus, Billy Gibbons, Don Henley, Jennifer Hudson, Billy Idol, Iggy Pop, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine, Chris Martin, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Brad Paisley, Bruce Springsteen, St. Vincent, Ringo Starr, Gwen Stefani, Charlize Theron, Nancy Wilson and more.

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl will make a speech introducing this year's inductees. The event will also feature a special Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tribute to late-guitar icon Eddie Van Halen.
