Mike Richter Celebrates the Rangers' Stanley Cup Anniversary

NY Rangers icon Mike Richter joined Jim and Shelli live on the exact 25th anniversary of the Rangers' legendary June 14, 1994 Stanley Cup victory. Richter gives his take on the brand new Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues and their incredible journey to victory. He also comments on the story of the amateur who got called up to play in a winning game for the Blackhawks this past season.

Mike discusses his life after retiring, including graduating from YALE (!), coaching college players and starting his own businesses. He shares what it feels like seeing his number 35 jersey hanging in the rafters of the Garden and how time has made his achievements all that much sweeter.

Of course there's plenty of reminiscing about the magical '94 Cup and the amazing citywide celebration afterwards. He also weighs in on some of the current Rangers, like Henrik Lundqvist.

Of course die hard Devils fan Shelli could help but have some fun with the Rangers legend and he was a great sport about it!

Catch Mike and his championship teammates Adam Graves, Mark Messier and Brian Leetch at a special event at iPlay America in Freehold, NJ on June 30th. They'll be a special panel, a Q&A, photo ops, trivia, food and much more- with proceeds going to charity. For more info and tickets click here.
