Last year we heard that the NFL was going to start cracking down on end zone celebrations. Well they made good on that threat and are in the process of making a training video for players on what will be allowed after scoring a touch down.
According to the NY Post, the excessive showboating may be causing a drop in ratings.
But is a little celebration that big of a probleml? Football is a tough game. Scoring is a big deal. What's wrong with a little victory dance? Maybe a some high fives among your teammates. Throw a few kisses into the stands. You did good!
Lighting off fireworks? OK that could be considered pushing it. But as long as it's family friendly, I'm all for it!
