A recent study by the Scottish SPCA and University of Glasgow finds dogs love to chill!
Canines favorite music genres include reggae and soft rock, says a BBC report.
Scientists played music for dogs and observed their behavior and how it changed genre to genre. The researchers played five different styles to the pups: soft rock, Motown, pop, reggae and classical.
Researchers tracked dogs' heart rates and say music decreased their stress levels. The effect was most pronounced when reggae or rock was playing.
But the most amazing fact of the study?
Professor Neil Evans notes: "Overall, the response to different genres was mixed highlighting the possibility that, like humans, our canine friends have their own individual music preferences."
Dogs are people too!
