Bob Seger: Tribute to Late Friend Glenn Frey

Today, January 18th, marks one year since the world lost Glenn Frey of the Eagles. Bob Seger grew up with Glenn Frey in the Detroit suburbs. Frey referred to him as his mentor. And Bob had a lot of respect for Glenn, saying "He's quite a writer. He and [Don] Henley did some incredible stuff, you know."

Bob Seger released a song written in tribute to his friend, simply titled, "Glenn's Song". Seger tells Rolling Stone, "There's no chorus per se or title section or anything. The idea was just to honor his memory and talk, very specifically, about my impression of him in 1966 when we first met."
