David Lee Roth Unveils Music Video For 'Lo-Rez Sunset' Single

David Lee Roth has revealed the official music video for his song "Lo-Rez Sunset," which he previously released via his web comic The Roth Project last year.

The comic brings together Roth's music and his love for illustration. The Roth Project featured five new songs that came out of sessions between the Van Halen co-founder and guitarist John 5.

"This immersive interactive comic is a high resolution visual & audio story that is best experienced on a fast computer/device and a fast internet connection," reads a description on the website. "Put on your headphones. Open your mind."

Drawn and narrated by Roth himself, the 17-chapter epic comic arrived last fall. It's available in both plain text and a scrolling, graphic novel-like format with audio cues.

In addition to John 5, for the music Roth enlisted the help of his old drummer Gregg Bissonette, plus keyboardist Brett Tuggle and percussionist Luis Conte.

Another track from The Roth Project is "Somewhere Over the Rainbow Bar and Grill," which Roth dedicated to the late-Eddie Van Halen when it was released last fall.

Roth recently announced a Las Vegas residency coming this winter at the House of Blues with shows announced December 31 - January 8.
