Bruce Springsteen's latest song, "Freedom Cadence," will appear during the closing credits of a new film called Thank You for Your Service.

Thank You for Your Service opened Friday. It focuses on Iraq war veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder as they try to return to normal civilian life.
The film was written and directed by Jason Hall (American Sniper). It is based on a book of the same name written by David Finkel.
Springsteen was reportedly inspired to write the song based on a cadence sung by soldiers in bootcamp, which for many becomes a mantra for the rest of their lives.
The Boss plays harmonium and banjo on the song.
