Journey and Asia have begun their tour and both acts are paying tribute to the late John Wetton, who sang lead vocals in Asia until before passing away in January.
Since Wetton's death, Asia added Billy Sherwood on bass and lead vocals.
On the second night of the tour, in Spokane, Wash. Journey again expressed its condolences to Asia and its fans. Asia thanked their tour-mates and Journey guitarist Neal Schon by posting a photo to Twitter of the scene inside the arena during "Lights."
Journey and Asia will be on the road together through July. Asia is likely to pay tribute to Wetton at every stop.
Asia guitarist Sam Coulson plans to keep fans tuned in with regular tour VLOGs.
