According to American Songwriter, there is one song so completely bizarre that it tops the list of the "weirdest song of all time."
This interesting tune features "yodeling, scat singing, whistling, prog-rock elements, and a flute solo," and each verse is as unpredictable as the one that precedes it.
The legendary track is even more fascinating performed live as the lead singer of the Dutch rock band who penned it in the 1970s (hint hint) had to physically prepare himself for the 6-minute and 43-second rollercoaster that is one of the strangest songs the world will ever experience.
What indescribable song holds onto this title after nearly 50 years, you ask?
That would be "Hocus Pocus" by Focus!
Other songs that made the list of the weirdest songs of all time include Pink Floyd's "Bike," Napoleon XIV's “They’re Coming To Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa!” and last but not least, Frank Zappa's "The Muffin Man."
