Take Me To The Movies: Hugh Jackman's 'Reminisce' And 'PAW Patrol'

“Reminiscence” ..Hugh Jackman stars in this 2-hour long PG-13 mystery/thriller with his “The Greatest Showman” co-star, Rebecca Ferguson (who also starred in two “Mission Impossiblwe” films). Jackman plays a private investigator of the mind, helping people recover their memories. It’s sort of the opposite premise of the great Jim Carrey-Kate Winslet film “Eternal Sunshine Of the Spotless Mind”, where she’s trying to forget her memories. The memory-recovery process in “Reminiscence” uncovers a violent conspiracy, forever changing Hugh Jackman’s character, Nick Bannister.

“Paw Patrol-The Movie”…inspired by the 17 year old kiddie tv show on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. This is for families with toddlers. Blessedly, it’s just an hour and 25 minutes long and is not only entertaining for kids, it won’t have parents growling in protest. Kim Kardashian does the voice of one of Paw Patrol member, a poodle. It’s getting 93% on “Rotten Tomatoes”.
