Drake Flexes In Recovery Workout Post Knee Surgery

Drake is getting back to business.

On Tuesday (January 12), the hip-hop titan took to Instagram to share some glimpses of him in the gym, particularly footage of him lifting 70 lb. OVO-branded weights in his home gym. "10 weeks post op I'm grinding for recovery EVERYDAY," he captioned the video. In a post, which was shared on his feed, the rapper flexed his muscles and offered the camera a smile.

It was reported that Drizzy underwent knee surgery in October after he reportedly tore his ACL. He never confirmed the specifics of his injury but did share a photo of him in bed with a knee brace on his right-leg. "I actually want to use this post to send love and motivation to anybody else that 2020 let loose on," he wrote at the time. "Start writing the best bounce back story NOW."

With only two weeks left of the month, fans are also clamoring for his upcoming album, Certified Lover Boy, which was said to drop sometime in January. The upcoming set has been compared to his 2016 effort, Views, by the star, who is anticipating a comparable reception to the project. Most recently, the rapper and Meek Mill reportedly filmed a music video in the Bahamas, per DJ Akademiks, but neither of the stars have come forward to confirm the rumor.
