Regis Philbin Has Passed Away At The Age Of 88

TV host, actor and singer Regis Philbin has passed away at the age of 88.

The once called 'the hardest working man in showbiz,' passed away over the weekend according to a statement from his family to People. "His family and friends are forever grateful for the time we got to spend with him – for his warmth, his legendary sense of humor, and his singular ability to make every day into something worth talking about. We thank his fans and admirers for their incredible support over his 60-year career."

TMZ reports that Regis passed away Saturday morning after reportedly suffering a heart attack at his home in New York, although they have not confirmed with the family. Regis has been battling heart disease and even had an angioplasty done in the '90s as well as a triple bypass surgery in 2007.
